There’s so much to do and see in Charleston that there is truly an occasion for every outfit. This sweater is super thick with the most amazing neckline and cap sleeves. I tucked it into brown leather pants that are so on-trend and popped on a pair of heels for a little bit of lift. This city screams old money so I’ll carry my $13 SheIn purse and try to fit in, lol. Our Charleston getaway was during July, and it was HOT.

Our hotel delivered a continental-style breakfast in a picnic basket to our door each morning, so we picked at that most days. These pants come in several different colors and patterns. I wanted something bright and happy for posing in pictures on Rainbow Row and the Battery area. Thanks to the square neck design, I was able to pull the shoulders down for a less conservative look at dinner. I paired this dress up with my metallic FitFlop Lulu sandals.
